No person shall commit or cause fraud.
(2) For the purpose of sub-section (1), except for the offense which is deemed to be felony, any thing done knowingly or with the intention of erasing, limiting, erasing, causing any kind of harm, damage or with the intention of causing damage or benefit to anyone, is false or false. (3) A person who commits or commits an offense under sub-section (1) shall be punished with imprisonment up to three years or a fine of up to thirty thousand rupees.
(4) If someone has stolen the property obtained by fraud, he shall be punished as per sub-section (3) in addition to the additional fine as per above.
(5) If someone has obtained any property by fraud, he shall return such property to the owner concerned and if such property has been sold, it shall be paid from other assets of the offender to the other owner.
